CFL evaluation camp: Who looked good? Who had bad luck?

The annual CFL non-import evaluation camp (e-camp) just concluded in downtown Toronto. Fifty-eight players from teams all across North America competed in a variety of physical, mental and football tests over the weekend. Here are a few of the high lights:

Who stood out?

Scott Mitchell, OL, 6’4″ 295lbs, Rice University, Ottawa, St. Mark’s High school

Scott stood out in the one on one period playing tackle, guard, and center.

Brendan Dunn, OL, 6’7″ 280lbs, Western Ontario, Burlington, Notre Dame High school

33 inch vertical and a decent one on one session improved his stock.

Pascal Baillargeon, OL, 6’5″ 300lbs, Laval, St-Anselme, QC, Cegep Levis-Lauzon

Possibly the most consistent performer until an injury.

Christopher Milo, K/P, 5’11” 205lbs, Laval, Montreal, St. Leonard Cougars (CJFL)

Very impressive field goal session, hitting consistently from 55 yards.


Craig Butler, DB, 6’2″ 196lbs, Western Ontario, London, St. Thomas Aquinas

Two interceptions in the one on one period.

Henoc Muamba, LB, 6’0″ 230lbs, St. Francis Xavier, Mississauga, ON, Father Goetz

Best overall linebacker at testing and one on ones.

Marco Iannuzzi, REC, 6’1″ 195lbs, Harvard, Calgary, St. Francis

Second best receiver 40 yd dash and productive one on one period.


Anthony Parker, REC, 6’2″ 215lbs, Calgary, Okotoks, AB, Foothills Composite

Best 40 yard receiver time and strong route running in one on ones.

Junior Turner, DL, 6’3″ 230lbs, Bishop’s, Brampton, St. Thomas Aquinas

Tested well and performed well in one on ones.

Alexander Robinson, DL, 6’5″ 253lbs, Western Ontario, Vancouver, Vancouver College

Best pass rush one on one period of all defensive linemen.

Kyle Exume, RB, 5’9″ 196lbs, Bishop’s, Brooklin, ON, Donald A Wilson

Good testing and one on one session with running backs and receivers.

Honorable Mentions

Both QBs Marc Mueller (Regina) & Brad Sinopoli (Ottawa). Andre Clarke (York), DB, impressive 40 time. OL Alexander Krausnick-Groh (Calgary). OL Matthew O’Donnell (Queens). DL Renaldo Seggase (Michigan) and Gregory Alexandre (Montreal).

Ben Thompson (Mcgill) pulled hamstring
Micheal Knill (Laurier) leg injury (after setting bench record of 47 reps on Saturday)
