CFL Draft: Muamba & 11 other CIS players go in first 2 rounds (34 of 47 picks)

The CFL draft began today at 1:00 pm and it involved many trades and many surprising early picks. No surprise first overall when Henoc Muamba (St. Francis Xavier) went to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The CIS President’s trophy winner (top defensive player) was in Winnipeg to announce the pick. He has yet to sign with the Bombers (he has the same agent as Cory Greenwood).
