The 6’4″, 315lbs offensive line prospect originally hails from Quebec where he spent his CEGEP career at Levis-Lauzon, then made the switch down south to play JUCO at New Mexico Military Institute alongside a large contingent of Canadian prospects. The move paid off with multiple FCS programs knocking on the door including Robert Morris, Southeastern Oklahoma State and Morgan State, but in the end he went with the first offer he earned from Houston Baptist at the end of October.

Paradis left a heartfelt message on social media thanking everybody who supported him along the way.

“First, I would like to thank my family and those around me who have sacrificed a lot for me, and who have supported me since the beginning of this process. My experience at NMMI has allowed me to enlighten myself for the next chapter of my career, and changed the man I am becoming today.”

Paradis is the first Canadian to commit to Houston Baptist since CFC began tracking every NCAA commit in 2010.
