No. 1. W. F. Herman Green Griffins (9-0) v.s St. Patrick’s (8-1)
SWOSSAA Finals
After easing their way past St. Patrick’s in the SWOSSAA finals by a score of 42-7, the Herman Green Griffins are on the road back to Hamilton once again in search of their fifth straight bowl title. The Green Griffins had little issues finding holes versus St. Patrick’s as they racked up well over 300 rushing yards, including touchdown runs by #CFC100 Quintin Seguin, Branden McCraney, Dante Lewis and quarterback Michael Beale. As mentioned before, Herman is looking to string together their fifth straight bowl win – and sixth in seven year – but it won’t be as easy as it sounds as they prepare to take on #CFC50 Huron Heights in the Eastern Bowl.

No. 3. A. N. Myer Marauders (7-0) v.s No. 19. Denis Morris Reds (9-1)
SOSSA East Finals
Denis Morris wouldn’t go down without taking a few good swings, but unfortunately in the end they ran out of time as Myer prevailed 31-24. Explosive plays were the hallmark of this Marauders victory with Tyler Scholz returning an interception 70 yards back to the house, and #CFC100 twin brothers Tre and Tyrell Ford hooking up on a 69 yard scoring play. Tre finished the day with an additional two rushing touchdowns, while Tyrell caught five passes for 115 yards to go along with his touchdown. It looked like the Reds may be done for at halftime down 21-3, but Denis Morris fought back with great pride and nearly pulled off the comeback. Reds’ quarterback Travis Arp finished with 260 yards passing and three touchdown strikes to Owen Wallace, Hayden Riley and Dylan Warnock, but it sadly wouldn’t be enough on this day. Some other big time performers who helped send Myer get back to the OFSAA Bowl Festival were Tyler Hildebrand who had two catches for 60 yards, and Brendan Karagias who hauled in two receptions for 40 yards. The Marauders will take on fellow #CFC50 Jacob Hespeler in the Central Bowl at Tim Hortons Field.

No. 9. Huron Heights Warriors (8-0)
OFSAA Western Bowl Finalists

No. 10. Jacob Hespeler Hawks (10-0) v.s No. 35. Guelph CVI Gaels (8-2)
CWOSSA Finals
After holding on for dear life versus #CFC50 St. David last week, Jacob Hespeler made sure things went much smoother in the CWOSSA finals as they dispatched the Guelph CVI Gaels 44-14. The scoring started early on an eight yard touchdown connection between quarterback Jackson White and Chris Wahl, and from there the Hawks never looked back. Jackson added a rushing major a little later in the the first half, which was then followed up by a 37 yard touchdown pass to Elijiah Cruickshank that extended their lead to 24-0. Hespeler salted this one away at the end of the first half as Logan Hall scooped and scored on a Guelph CVI fumble to put his team ahead 30-0, which essentially turned the lights out on a great season by Guelph. Second half touchdowns by Mario Alyas and Carlos Galindo would close out the scoring for Hespeler who now get ready to face #CFC50 A. N. Myer in the Central Bowl.

No. 11. Nelson Lords (9-0) v.s No. 15. Cardinal Newman Cardinals (7-2)
GHAC Semifinals
Nelson will be making their first appearance at the OFSAA Bowl Festival since 2011 after defeating Cardinal Newman 16-13 in the GHAC semifinals. Either team could have emerged in this low scoring affair, but it was Will Corby with the help of quarterback Jared Currie who made the difference for the Lords, connecting on touchdown passes of 15 and 85 yards for the only two offensive majors in the game. After scoring in bunches all season long, the Cardinals simply could not solve a stingy Nelson defence with their lone touchdown coming on a 40 yard pick-six by Matt Persia that tied the game up in the second quarter. Despite Newman’s best efforts, Corby’s second touchdown and ensuing two point conversion by Robbie Walker gave the Lords a 16-7 lead that they would not relinquish. Nelson will now look to complete a perfect season when they take on #CFC50 St. Marcellinus in the Golden Horseshoe Bowl.

No. 12. St. Thomas More Knights (9-1) v.s No. 34. Holy Trinity (6-3)
GHAC Semifinals
It was all St. Thomas More from start to finish as they overwhelmed Holy Trinity 59-8, booking their spot in the OFSAA Bowl Festival with sights set on back to back bowl championships. Seemingly everybody got in on the scoring action for the Knights, with #CFC100 Michael Chris-Ike tallying three touchdowns, Jacob Baker adding one via the ground and one through the air on a 48 yard pass from Zach Odoardi, Justin Almonte taking an interception 30 yards to the house as well adding a 55 yard rushing touchdown, Josh Bowen snagging a late 25 yard rushing touchdown, and last, but not least, Kevin Mutuga who was perfect on the day nailing every convert plus a 32 yard field goal. After easing their way through the GHAC semifinals, St. Thomas More will now kick off day one of the OFSAA Bowl Festival in an Eastern Bowl clash versus the Paul Dwyer Saints.

No. 13. Catholic Central Crusaders (8-1) v.s No. 14. South Lions (9-0)
WOSSAA Finals
We have a new champion out of London after the South Lions stormed back in the fourth quarter to shock the Catholic Central Crusaders in a 21-17 thriller. The Crusaders landed the first blows in this game after Derek Aubin blasted through the middle for a 45 yard touchdown run, which was an early wake up call for a South defensive unit who had pitched 7 shutouts this season. #CFC100 Daniel Valente carried the momentum finding the end zone on a 14 yard carry to extend Catholic Central’s lead to 14-0, but that is where South would manage to stop the bleeding. Ethan Martin answered back before halftime with a five yard touchdown run to cut the lead in half, which is where the score would stay for the entirety of the third quarter. After holding strong for most of the game and adding another field goal to make it 17-7, the Lions were finally able to crack the Crusader’s defence again on a touchdown run by Richie Selmes which brought them within three points. Lady luck would then be on their side as South recovered a fumble on special teams, which then led to the game winning touchdown run by Tyrel Pierce to seal the victory in dramatic fashion. South now moves onto an Independent Bowl showdown versus McKinnon Park.

No. 20. St. Marcellinus Spirit (8-1)
OFSAA Golden Horseshoe Bowl Finalists

No. 21. Etobicoke Rams (8-0) v.s Lawrence Park (5-4)
TDSB Finals
It’s bowling time once again for the Etobicoke Rams after they defeated Lawrence Park 41-0 in the TDSB finals. The Rams have started to click on all cylinders at the right time with an offence led by quarterback Max Melville, running backs Justice Allin and Samuel Conteh, as well as #CFC100 Keegan Dicks, whose speed will be a tough challenge for #CFC50 Superior Heights to keep up with in the Northern Bowl.

No. 25. Holy Names Knights (6-2)
Season complete

No. 27. Superior Heights Steelhawks (10-0)
OFSAA Northern Bowl Finalists

No. 30. St. Roch Ravens (7-1)
Season complete

No. 31. St. Matthew (6-1)
OFSAA Metro Bowl Finalists

No. 38. St. David Celtics (7-3)
Season complete

No. 41. St. Maximillan Kolbe Mustangs (6-2)
Season complete

No. 45. North Park Trojans (7-1)
Season complete

No. 46. St. Charles Cardinals (8-1)

No. 47. Sir Allan MacNab Lions (8-2) v.s McKinnon Park (7-1)
SOSSA West Finals
The McKinnon Park Blue Devils are off to their first ever OFSAA Bowl Festival after pulling out a close 32-22 victory over Sir Allan MacNab. It will be a good test for the Blue Devils at the festival when they take on the #CFC50 South Lions in the Independent Bowl.

No. 50. Bear Creek Kodiaks (8-2)
OFSAA Simcoe Bowl Finalists
