No. 1. W. F. Herman Green Griffins (7-0) vs Massey (4-4)
Semifinals
There was no need to remind Branden McCraney it was playoff time, whose masterful five touchdown performance propelled Herman to a 42-0 semifinals victory over Massey. This game was painted green from start to finish with Herman showing no ill effects from their time off, and the outcome now sets up the rematch everybody has been waiting to see withĀ #CFC50 Holy Names in the finals. The highlight of the game came on one of many touchdowns for McCraney, where he dodged through the Massey punt cover unit for a 90 yard return touchdown.

No. 3. A. N. Meyer Marauders (6-0)
Bye week.

No. 6. Cardinal Newman Cardinals (7-0) vs Bishop Ryan (4-4)
Semifinals
Bishop Ryan didnā€™t back down until the final whistle blew, but it wasnā€™t enough as Cardinal Newman ran away with a 52-27 victory. The fans in attendance witnessed an offensive explosion in the first half, with Newman racking up 42 points on the back of two touchdowns apiece by Nicholas Petermann and Jordan Rimac, while Bishop Ryan were able to find the end zone three times with #CFC100 Jacob Patten throwing together a gutsy performance trying to keep his team in the game. Second half touchdowns by Ethan Bastarache, Josh Perusin and Calvin Kelly would ultimately seal the Celtics’ fate, which now sets up another highly anticipated meeting between Newman and #CFC50 St. Thomas More in the city finals.

No. 10. St. Roch Ravens (7-1) vs St. Marguerite dā€™Youville (5-3)
Semifinals
At one point or another, everybody comes face to face with the reality that anything can happen in sports, and unfortunately for St. Roch they were on the wrong end of that harsh lesson as St. Marguerite dā€™Youville pulled off the semifinals upset with a 10-9 victory. After knocking on the door in three close defeats to the top teams in the division, dā€™Youville was finally able to snap the hinges throwing up a no fly zone all day long versus a Ravens’ offence that was averaging 39.7 points per contest. The win means that there will be a new champion out of ROPSSAA this season, with dā€™Youville now preparing to take on #CFC50 St. Marcellinus Spirit in the finals.

No. 11. Huron Heights Warriors (7-0) vs King City (3-4)
Semifinals
It will be a mind blowing 13th straight regional finals appearance for Huron Heights after the Warriors made quick work of King City in a 55-1 victory. This game was put to rest early as Huron Heights tallied four quick touchdowns in the opening frame, including a pair of majors by the always versatile #CFC100 Danny McWhirter. It will be a very interesting clash in the finals as the Warriors prepare to take on the #CFC50 St. Max Mustangs, who took Huron Heights to edge of defeat before falling 14-11 earlier in the season.

No. 13. Jacob Hespeler Hawks (8-0) vs Sir John A. MacDonald (5-3)
WCSSAA Finals
It was an eventful week for the Jacob Hespeler Hawks who punched their ticket to the CWOSSA semifinals with a 35-0 victory over Grand River, followed by a 33-0 blowout performance in the city finals over Sir John A. MacDonald. Jackson White led the way under centre for the Hawks scoring one rushing touchdown and connecting with Xavier Pineda for a 34 yard touchdown pass. Darrian Morgan also had a big day booting ball once again nailing field goal attempts from 25 and 19 yards out. The win marks Hespelerā€™s fourth straight division title, and lays ground for a #CFC50 showdown with St. David in the CWOSSA semifinals.

No. 16. Nelson Lords (7-0) vs Georgetown (5-2-1)
Semifinals
It was a complete team effort for the Nelson Lords as they cruised to a 41-7 victory over Georgetown, setting up a championship clash with the former #CFC50 Holy Trinity Titans in the Halton region finals. The Lords took a score by committee stance in this one as Jake Mitchell, Quinn Pritchard, Will Corby, Jared Currie and Zach Ihasz all found the end zone for majors, while AJ Shofield was perfect on the day hitting five converts and a field goal attempt. Things will heat up next week as Holy Trinity look to avenge a 38-7 beat down dished out by Nelson earlier in the season.

No. 17. Catholic Central Crusaders (7-0) vs St. Thomas Aquinas (4-3)
Semifinals
Speed kills, and St. Thomas More simply couldnā€™t keep up as Catholic Central booked their spot in the finals with a 35-0 victory. The story for the Crusaders once again was #CFC100 Daniel Valente, who found the end zone three times including a 40 yard scamper that left defenders wondering what the blur was that scorched by them. Quarterback Jake Beukeboom added another major on a bootleg from one yard out, helping his team secure a meeting with St. Josephā€™s in the London Catholic finals.

No. 18. South Lions (7-0) vs A. B. Lucas (5-2)
Semifinals
I think itā€™s safe to say that after scoring four touchdowns in Southā€™s 35-0 drubbing over A. B Lucas, Lionsā€™ quarterback Ethan Martin has no issues living up to the big game hype. Rushing for two majors and throwing a pair to Luke Williams and Tyrell Schroeder, Martin proved that he is capable of stepping up when the lights are shining the brightest, which he will need to do once again next week in the finals versus #CFC50 Sir Wilfrid Laurier. Of course he will have plenty of help from those around him, including Nick Morello who added six to the scoreboard on a short jaunt to the end zone, along withĀ #CFC100 Spencer Nichols who had a wail of a game on both sides of the ball racking up four tackles and one sack.

No. 19. St. Thomas More Knights (7-1) vs Cathedral (5-3)
Semifinals
Hungry for their second shot at #CFC50 Cardinal Newman in the finals, St. Thomas More would not be denied as they pummeled Cathedral 43-7 in their semifinals matchup. No surprise it was the Knights ground attack that led the way to victory, with #CFC100 Michael Chris-Ike scoring two touchdowns, while fellow running back Jacob Baker found the end zone on a one yard plunge and a 35 yard catch and run play with quarterback Zach Odoardi. The game ended with an exclamation point as Joe Oā€™Brien returned an interception 111 yards for a pick-six, sending St. Thomas More into the finals with a bit of a jump in their step as they look to erase the memory of last seasonā€™s shocking comeback victory by Newman.

No. 20. Holy Names Knights (6-1) vs Kennedy (5-3)
Semifinals
Holy Names breezed by Kennedy 26-0 in the semifinals to set up an opportunity at redemption versus #CFC50 Herman in the WECSSA finals.

No. 21. Denis Morris Reds (8-0) vs Blessed Trinity (4-4)
Semifinals
Denis Morris would not be denied as they punched their tickets to the finals with a 26-0 victory over Blessed Trinity. Austin Pilato provided the framework with two rushing touchdowns, while quarterback Travis Arp was able to provide some colour connecting with Dylan Warnock for a passing major. Denis Morris will now switch focus to their championship clash versus the former #CFC50 St. Paul Patriots

No. 23. Etobicoke Rams (6-0)
Quarterfinals bye

No. 25. Corpus Christi Longhorns (6-1) vs Holy Trinity (6-1)
Semifinals
Sometimes the chips just donā€™t fall your way, and that was the case for Corpus Christi who ended their season on a sour note with a 36-5 loss versusĀ #CFC50 Holy Trinity.

No. 26. Superior Heights Steelhawks (10-0) vs No. 42. St. Charles Cardinals (8-1)
NOSSA Finals
See you in Hamilton, Superior Heights. For the third straight year the Steelhawks are NOSSA champions after defeating St. Charles 29-7. You donā€™t have to search very hard to find the Cardinals’ achilles heel, which was five interceptions by a ball hawking Superior Heights defence who have been tremendous all season long. Quarterback Noah Grigg was able to provide some blows on offence hooking up with Isaac Belsito for two passing touchdowns, while the omnipotent Cooper Laframboise added a pair of majors along the ground. Superior Heights now await the results from the Toronto public league to see who their opponent will be in the OFSAA Northern Bowl at Tim Hortons Field.

No. 27. St. Joan of Arc Knights (7-0) vs St. Theresaā€™s (3-4-1)
Simcoe County Finals
St. Joan of Arc pulled off a perfect season as they blanked St. Theresaā€™s 50-0 in the Simcoe County finals. The Knights now get a chance to dance one last time in the OFSAA Simcoe Bowl versus the winner from Thunder Bay.

No. 32. St. Marcellinus Spirit (7-1) vs Lorne Park (5-3)
Semifinals
It was smooth sailing for the St. Marcellinus Spirit who had no troubles dispatching Lorne Park in a 30-0 semifinals victory. With #CFC50 St. Roch now out of the picture, the Spirit will be the top seed when they face off against St. Marguerite dā€™Youville in the ROPSSAA finals.

No. 34. St. James Lions (6-1) vs Guelph CVI (6-1)
District 10 Finals
In a game like this, nobody deserves to lose, but unfortunately for St. James somebody had to as Guelph CVI took the District 10 finals in a tight 38-37 decision. Finding themselves down 37-14 with just over three minutes remaining, St. James concocted a resilient comeback that featured two onside kick recoveries as the Lions fought back to tie the game up at 37-37. Although they could feel the title slowly slipping through their fingers, Guelph CVI mounted a last minute drive to set up a kick that was blasted through the end zone by Ben Boddy for a rare game deciding rouge. Reid Martin led the way with 20 points for St. James, while Simon Chaves doubled up on a pair of touchdowns to help Guelph CVI live to fight another day in the CWOSSA semifinals versus St. Mary’s from Owen Sound.

No. 36. St. Peter Knights (5-2) vs St. Matthew (6-1)
AAA Finals
Although this game looked like it had all the makings of an instant classic, it just wasnā€™t St. Peterā€™s day as St. Matthew ran away with a decisive 42-0 win.

No. 44. North Park Trojans (7-1) vs No. 49. St. David Celtics (8-1)
CWOSSA playdowns
Justin Henderson turned in a five touchdown performance as the St. David Celtics eased their way past the North Park Trojans with a 37-21 victory. Showcasing his versatility under centre, Henderson was able to sync up with standout receiver Daire Newbrough for three passing majors, while also knifing his way through defence for two rushing touchdowns. The scoreboard was not a very good indicator of just how dominant St. David was in this one, and they will need to replicate the same results next week when they take on #CFC50 Jacob Hespeler in the CWOSSA semifinals.

No. 45. St. Maximilian Kolbe Mustangs (6-1) vs Bill Crothers (4-3)
Semifinals
It was pure domination for the St. Max Mustangs in a 43-9 victory over Bill Crothers, and the confidence boost will be needed as they now steady themselves for a championship rematch with #CFC50 powerhouse Huron Heights. The Mustangs put on a clinic in this one with quarterback Ben Langlois throwing four touchdown passes, and running back Ron Boshoer totaling 191 rushing yards and one touchdown out of the backfield. Nolan Lovegrove was on the receiving end of two of Langloisā€™ touchdown passes, while Jack Camplin and Jordan Torres each snagged one for themselves. After falling just short of shaking up Huron Heightsā€™ perfect record earlier in the year, the Mustangs will need to make sure they are mentally prepared to go four quarters with one of the best teams Canada has to offer in the finals.

No. 48. Sir Wilfrid Laurier Rams (7-0) vs Central (5-2)
Semifinals
Central posed as a good opponent on paper, but in the end it was Sir Wilfrid Laurier who stole the spotlight in a 36-12 semifinals win. A touchdown run by Austin Allen-Carrothers opened up an early 9-0 lead, which the Rams then turned into a 16-0 deficit real quick on a touchdown reception by Currie Broder. With the scoreboard reading 29-0 after three quarters, it was all but over for Central who will now become spectators next week for the city finals between Laurier and the #CFC50 South Lions.

No. 50. Westdale Warriors (6-2) vs Saltfleet (5-3)
Semifinals
Itā€™s amazing what can happen in just two months, and the Saltfleet Storm are a shining example after taking down the top seeded Westdale Warriors 19-7 to advance to the city finals. In the season opener back in September, the storyline was all Westdale in a 53-13 defeat, but with good coaching and pure determination the Storm have emerged as a new team in November with a shot at the city title versusĀ #CFC50 Sir Allan MacNab.
