1. W. F. Herman Green Griffins (6-0) v.s St. Anne (0-6)
Game cancelled

3. A. N. Myer Marauders (6-0) v.s Ridgeway – Crystal Beach Blue Devils (2-3)
It was the type of game most quarterbacks only dream about for #CFC100 Tre Ford, who threw six touchdown passes in A. N. Meyer’s 49-0 win over Ridgeway. Even more impressive might be the fact that Ford connected with five different receivers for majors, including a 70 yard catch and run with his partner in crime #CFC100 Tyrell Ford. Not to be overshadowed, Tyler Hildebrand hauled in two touchdown receptions, while Brendan Karagias, Rico Charbonneau and Dallas Bone rounded out the six-pack. Jake Andrews also got in on the scoring with a 20 yard run to the end zone, while Tyrell Ford, Tyler Scholz and Elliot Brown-Ford stood out on defence in the shutout effort.

6. Cardinal Newman Cardinals (7-0) v.s 12. St. Thomas More Knights (5-2)
Don’t say you weren’t warned. In our #CFC50 game of the week, Newman got the better of St. Thomas More once again as they walked away with a slim 22-13 victory. While the scoreboard heavily favours the defences, there were lots of big plays made on both sides including an 84 yard romp by #CFC100 Michael Chris-Ike to give the Knights an early 10-0 lead. Unfortunately they couldn’t harness the momentum from their quick start as touchdown runs by Austin Viola and Nicholas Petermann put Newman ahead 13-10 at halftime. After opening up the scoring with a 27 yard field goal, St. Thomas More kicker Kevin Matuga nailed another from 28 yards to knot the game up at 13-13 midway through third quarter to set up a race to the finish. Both defences clamped down, but Newman managed to penetrate deep enough into enemy territory to set up Ethan Basterache for field goals of 37, 21, and 10 yards to seal the victory. Cardinals’ quarterback Jordan Rimac was outstanding in the win completing 12 of his 16 passes and racking up 165 all purpose yard to help clinch top spot in the division. It may be a minor footnote by the end of the season, but this game has some major implications now as Newman gets to enjoy a week off, while St. Thomas More gets ready to take on St. Jean Brebeuf in quarter-final action this week.

10. St. Roch Ravens (7-0) v.s St. Marguerite d’Youville (3-3)
D’Youville came prepared for the Ravens’ high-powered offence, but in the end they couldn’t muster any touchdowns of their own as they fell to St. Roch 23-1. Although he had a few errant passes, quarterback Deandre Rose was a steady force all day compiling 220 yards through the air and three touchdowns. On the receiving end of the two of the three darts by Rose were Shay Wynter and Joojo Paintsil. The defence fed off the good vibes forcing three interceptions and held D’Youville to just 20 yards rushing all game to help maintain the Ravens’ control over the ROPSSAA Division.

11. Huron Heights Warriors (7-0) v.s. Markham District (0-6)
Next? Huron Heights put together their third straight 60+ point performance as they overwhelmed Markham District 69-0. At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be any logical way to slow down the Warriors who even on special teams are looking to score. In a mind blowing performance, Jayden Thompson returned not one, not two, but three punts back to the end zone which accounted for nearly a third of his teams’ point total. Seven other Warriors added touchdowns to the scoreboard, including #CFC100 Danny McWhirter, Kyle Pashka, Aiden Mielczarek, Ayden Brockington, Sebastian Scott, Mike Strumos and Jericho Daher. Huron Heights now get a chance to kick back and take breather as they prepare for their semi-final matchup to be played on either November 10th, or 11th.

14. Holy Names Knights (5-1) v.s Villanova (3-3)
Game cancelled.

15. Jacob Hespeler Hawks (5-0) v.s Preston (2-3)
Hespeler kept the good times rolling as they bested Preston by a score of 46-10. Among the scorers for the Hawks were some familiar names as Devante Hudson collected a pair of majors, while Elijah Cruickshank, Carlos Galindo, Aidan Carter and Jared Beeksma all added touchdowns of their own. Hespeler’s win completes a perfect regular season, and sets up a semi-final matchup this week versus Waterloo-Oxford.

19. Nelson Lords (6-0)
Bye week.

21. Catholic Central Crusaders (5-1) v.s Mother Teresa (1-4)
#CFC100 Daniel Valente put on a show scoring three touchdowns as Catholic Central mercied Mother Teresa 35-0. Although the scoreboard didn’t show it, the Crusaders had four other players cross the goal line including Quinn Brown with a pair of majors, along with Matt Landry, Graeme Crittenden and Derek Aubin. Heading into the season finale, Catholic Central has now clinched top spot in the division after Regina Mundi lost last week dropping their record to 3-2.

22. South Lions (5-1) v.s Central (5-1)
if there were any doubters before, there certainly shouldn’t be now after the South Lions imposed their will in a mercy victory over the previously undefeated Central Golden Ghosts. The Lions enjoyed some monster games from their playmakers with Nick Morello rushing for 102 yards and two touchdowns, Noah Johns collecting three passes for 138 yards, and quarterback Ethan Martin gaining 259 total yards and two touchdowns.

23. Denis Morris Reds (6-0) v.s Saint Francis (2-4)
Dennis Morris continue to cruise at a high altitude after downing Saint Francis 56-14. The Reds will have just one final tuneup game before the their semi-final matchup on November 9th.

27. Corpus Christi Longhorns (7-0) v.s Jean Vanier (0-6)
It wasn’t a shutout, but it will certainly get the job done as Corpus Christi rolled over Jean Vanier in a 27-3 victory. The Longhorns now enjoy a week to rest as they await the results from the first round of playoff action.

28. Superior Heights Steelhawks (8-0) v.s Korah (4-4)
You couldn’t ask for much more from a championship game as the Korah Colts left everything they had out of the field, but in the end Superior Heights prevailed 22-20 to claim their fourth straight league title. After opening the scoring with an early touchdown, an upset certainly seemed like it was in the cards until Cooper Laframboise sprung to action with two third quarter touchdowns to take a two score lead. The Colts showed absolutely no quit, however, rallying to get within two points in the end, and one could say they didn’t lose the game, they simply just ran out of time. The Steelhawks now find themselves back in a very familiar position as they prepare for a NOSSA semi-final matchup with a date at Tim Hortons Field on their mind.

29. Etobicoke Rams (6-0) v.s Lawrence Park (3-2)
Nasty defence coupled with timely offensive performances have been the storyline for Etobicoke all year long, and last week was no different as they defeated Lawrence park 19-0. Keegan Dicks was the Rams’ catalyst this time around hauling in two touchdown receptions, while just for good measure fellow receiver Daniel Diodati added a touchdown of his own. Etobicoke now direct their energy towards Downsview as they look to close out a flawless regular season.

31. St. Joan of Arc Knights (5-0) v.s St Joseph’s (0-4)
Joan of Arc put together another shutout effort as they handed St. Joseph’s their fourth straight loss in a 21-0 victory. With just one game remaining, the Knights will look to keep a clean sheet in both the standings and on the scoreboard when they take on South Barrie.

36. St. Marcellinus Spirit (5-1) v.s St. Thomas Aquinas (0-6)
St. Marcellinus maintain their second place position ahead of Lorne Park in the standings with a massive 48-14 win over St. Thomas Aquinas. As the playoffs rapidly approach, the Spirit will look to continue their winning ways when they close out the season versus Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

37. Frontenac Falcons (5-0)
Bye week.

38. St. James Lions (6-0)
Bye week.

40. St. Peter Knights (5-1) v.s St. Francis Xavier (2-3-1)
The Knights capped off the regular season with their fifth straight win as they defeated St. Francis Xavier 36-0. St. Peter’s has solidified their spot atop the division as the playoffs get set to kick off in the nation’s capital.

41. St. Benedict Saints (5-1) v.s St. Mary’s (1-5)
Finding themselves in a win and you’re in type scenario going into their final game versus St. Mary’s, St. Benedict made no mistake as they reserved their spot in the District 8 finals with a 34-8 win. The Saints will enjoy a week off as former #CFC50 squads St. David and Resurrection duke it out in the semi-finals.

45. St. Maximilian Kolbe Mustangs (4-1) v.s King City (2-3)
After being away from live action for 20 days, St. Max didn’t miss a beat as they shutout their opponents from King City 28-0. Quarterback Ben Langois and his trusty sidekick Nolan Lovegrove were the main talking points in this contest connecting on touchdown passes of 35 and 38 yards to help propel the Mustangs to victory. St. Max has now clinched second seed behind the red hot #CFC50 Huron Heights, prolonging a potential rematch until the championship game.

48. North Park Trojans (5-0) v.s St. John’s (3-4)
North Park punched their ticket to the CWOSSA playdowns with a 29-14 win over St. John’s in the Brant County finals. The Trojans will now play the winners from District 8 on November 11th.

50. Sir Wilfrid Laurier Rams (5-0) v.s Tillsonburg (0-5)
Chalk up another big win for Sir. Wilfrid Laurier as they blanked Tillsonburg 35-0 to remain undefeated on the season. Just one game remains before the playoffs begin, but it is a big one as the Rams get ready to take on the 4-1 Clarke Road Trojans with first place in the balance.
