CFC100 U Sports Spotlight: Tre Ford turns back the clock with week one explosion

Kevin Jarrod/Windsor Chronicle

New to CFC this season, we’ll be picking one of our CFC100 prospects playing at the U Sports level to spotlight each week. Many of these players are tracking to be highly coveted CFL prospects in their final two years of eligibility, so it’s worth getting to know them before they reach televisions nationwide.

No better way to kick off the series than a conversation with former CFC50 Myer Marauders pivot CFC100 Tre Ford, who turned back the clock with some high school like numbers in Waterloo’s win over Windsor on Sunday night.

“This was our first of many wins as we are looking to make it to the playoffs and championship this year. We just have to take it one week at a time, be physically and mentally prepared, and I believe we can beat any team that is put in front of us.”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
