Port Coquitlam linebacker recently joins CWUAA team.

Isaiah Stevens will begin his CIS career in his home province.

Recently, the 5’11, 185 pound linebacker from Port Coquitlam committed to the University of British Columbia (UBC) Thunderbirds.  Stevens will join the team for the 2015 CWUAA season.

“I chose UBC because I liked the message and intensity Coach [Blake] Nill brings to the table,” expressed Stevens.  “Coach Nill is keen on winning.”

“I felt like I would fit in; it just felt right.”

Stevens completed his career with Terry Fox Ravens of the British Columbia High School Football Association (BCHSFA).  This past season, the linebacker was named BCHSFA ‘AAA’ Defensive MVP.

Additionally, Stevens has been ranked on the #CFC100 twice – May and September 2014.
