The 6’6″, 285lbs offensive tackle traveled a long road beginning in Nova Scotia where he played for the Auburn Drive Eagles, then transferred to Clarkson in 2018 with the intentions of gaining NCAA exposure. Stevens also participated in the CFC100 Combine series during his time in Ontario when he was still primarily playing defensive line, and made waves with a string of U Sports offers before earning his first NCAA offer from Toledo on June 4th. He attracted a ton of interest from the MAC eventually committing to Eastern Michigan, but after an impressive senior season at Football North, the Spartans swooped in to acquire his services.

It’s been a long journey from the rocky shores of Nova Scotia, and Stevens is looking forward to the next chapter in Lansing,

“Michigan State is where I wanna play football. It’s what I dream about. I’ve turned down a lot of schools in past few days because this is where I want to be. I cannot wait to step on campus in January and be the next first round draft pick out of EL. It has been a long journey with injuries, position changes but nothing got in the way of what I wanted to do this season.”

Stevens is the sixth Canadian to join Michigan State since CFC began tracking data back in 2010 joining Arjen Colquhoun, David Fennell, James, Bodanis, Michael Topolinski and Tyler Topolinski.
