#CFC100 OL becomes Laval’s first 2016 commitment (VIDEO)

CEGEP offensive lineman joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.

The first training camp for 2015 has not yet taken place and a #CFC100 given his committment to Laval Rouge et Or and Head Coach Glen Constantin for next season.

Offensive lineman Samuel Lefebvre has joined the Rouge et Or.  In the coming days, Lefebvre will begin his third and final season with CEGEP Division 1’s Lévis-Lauzon Faucons.

The 6’3, 305 pound recruit has already left its mark on the field, being named CEGEP Division 1 Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2014. He was also selected as a CEGEP Division 1 All-Star. The native of St-Lambert-de-Lauzon, Quebec has also been on the Team Canada under 18 rosters for the past two editions of the International Bowl, most recently earlier this year in Arlington, Texas.

Back in June, Lefebvre was included in the first edition of the #CFC100 CLASS 2016 RANKINGS

“He is a very versatile player who can play multiple positions on the offensive line, but we are already seeing him working at the center position” commented Constantin of the recruit.  “What is even more special is that he is good not only on the interior, but also the exterior of it.”

Lefebvre is an exceptional case. The former Academie St.Louis standout, he went straight past his fifth year directly to CEGEP Division 1. He also won this year’s Lieutenant Governor’s Medal for community involvement.

At Laval, he will enter the Faculty of Administration from January.
