Clarkson faced St. Xavier, a perineal top team in Ohio, and were dominated in the run game on both sides of the ball, losing 38-19.  Leading tacklers included CFC100s Ife Onyemenam (8), Scott Murray (7), and Brad Kemayou (6). CFC100 Clark Barnes had three receptions for 110 yards, including a 77-yard touchdown. Clarkson travels to Connecticut to play Cheshire Academy looking to avenge last year’s two-point loss.

St. Joseph faced St. Edwards, a top Ohio team from the Cleveland area.  Two early QB/Center exchange fumbles were St Joe’s undoing as the visitors went down 38-7.  QB Tristan Lefebvre had the lone touchdown on a QB sneak.  St. Joe’s travels to Wyoming Seminary in what should be a winnable game.

RICC was shut out by Choate Rosemary Hall this past weekend with a final score of 46-0. At halftime the score was 36-0. RICC now looks to play Canton (Oh.) on the 20th. Like St Joe’s, this should be a winnable game.

This past Friday, the Varsity Kerry Blues took to the field against UCC in the annual “Battle of the Blues” matchup at UofT’s Varsity Field where they fell short, losing, 31-17.  They will play this coming Friday, October 19th, against Trinity College. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm at SMC in the “Pink it Up” game for breast cancer awareness and research. UCC will go on to play CFC50 ranked Huron Heights Warriors from Newmarket. *game information: Kerry Blues Facebook

St. Andrew’s College pulled off the win against the Trinity College Bears with a final score of 30-20. They will go on to play CFC50 Huron Heights on the 17th while the Bears will play St. Mike’s Kerry Blues on Friday.
