CFC Coach Clinic (Ottawa): Posy-Audette to discuss ‘Match Defense’

Posy-Audette moved to uOttawa in December of 2015 from the Montreal Alouettes where he was a scout and football operations assistant for the 2015 season.Ā The move marks a return to CIS football after two years with the Alouettes. A two-time All-Canadian at defensive back, Posy-Audette won the Vanier Cup as a player with the Rouge et Or in 1999 before being drafted by the Toronto Argonauts. After two seasons with the boatmen Posy-Audette began his full-time coaching career with the Montreal Carabins as the special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach.

In 2007 he moved to the Sherbrooke Vert et Or in the same roles and became defensive coordinator in 2012. That season the team was first in the CIS with five defensive touchdowns, sixth in interceptions with 13, and tenth with 23.3 points allowed per game. Between the Carabins and Vert et Or, the 39-year old has 12 seasons of coaching experience in the CIS.

Posy-Audette, who is bilingual, is originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for The Foundation for the Sustainable Development of Haiti since 2007. He has attended three NFL camps as a guest coach with the Cincinnati Bengals and Chicago BearsĀ  and has coached within the Quebec provincial team system as defensive coordinator at the U17 level, winning two national championships.
