MM Robinson defeated the #3 nationally ranked and previously undefeated Corpus Christi 19-6. I’ts the first Tier 1 senior football Halton Championship for MM Robinson since 1994, before most of the team was born.
MM’s Jessie Myers opened scoring with a touchdown on kick off return. Jordan (the boot) Kemp kicked a field goal in the second. Corpus Christi conceded safety to start the third. Jon Howard scored after a goal line stand.
Corpus quarterback Thomas Riolo threw two interceptions, one of which was caught in the end zone by Myers. Corpus also had three fumbles all recovered by MM Robinson.
Corpus scored with 72 yd td pass with two minutes left in the game. They had a successful onside kick, but the Rams defence proved to be too much.
