CFC100 player headlines three new Alberta commitments

The Alberta Golden Bears are having a monster recruiting season and have added three more players to their list. Alberta now has 19 commitments for 2020, 12 of which are ranked in the CFC150 prospect list.

CFC100 Ty Anderson (6’3, 288 lbs) — Defensive Tackle from Centennial High School (Calgary, AB)

The talented defensive tackle is one of the top-ranked players at his position and is able to make an immediate impact on Alberta’s defensive line. Anderson participated in the 2019 CFC Prospect Game for Team Burris last June.

“I will be committing to the University of Alberta to support and further my dream of playing football at the highest level possible,” said Anderson via Twitter.

Zach Eliuk-Rundrum (6’3, 275 lbs) — Defensive Tackle from Salisbury Composite School (Sherwood Park, AB)

Eliuk-Rundrum is a towering defensive lineman capable of playing multiple positions including defensive tackle and noseguard. The homegrown product figures to be a welcomed addition to an already strong 2020 class for the Golden Bears.

River Cameron (6’3, 170 lbs) — Defensive Back from Strathcona Composite School (Edmonton, AB)

The 6’3, 170 pounds Cameron is Alberta’s first pure defensive back recruit for 2020. He provides great potential for the future of the Golden Bears’ defensive secondary.

“Another great addition to the class of 2020,” said University of Alberta head coach Chris Morris via Twitter.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
