CÉGEP10 (coll. div. 1) RANKINGS (9): Dust settled after another week, but who ended up where?

1. André-Grasset Phénix (7-1)
Grasset had a serious clash this week with Lévis-Lauzon, but their offence reigned supreme which means they hold onto the top spot for now.

2. Ch.-Lennoxville Cougars (7-1)
The Cougars knew it wasn’t going to be a walk in the park, but safe to say they were confident they’d figure things out against Saint-Jean.

3. Lévis-Lauzon Faucons (6-2)
So close but yet so far, the Faucons would have really shaken up the rankings if they found a way to overcome Grasset, but their defence came back to haunt them despite another impressive offensive performance.

4. Vanier Cheetahs (6-2)
Vanier caps off the top four teams once again after a blowout win versus Limoilou, but really you can throw these programs into a hat come playoff time and probably pick just the outcome just as accurately.

5. Notre-Dame-de-Foy (5-3)
5-3 sounds a whole lot better than 4-4, and all of a sudden CNDF has strung together back to back wins with the playoffs almost here.

6. Vieux Montréal Spartiates (4-4)
In the same vain, 4-4 sounds a whole lot better than 3-5, and still the Spartiates remain a team nobody in the top of the devision wants to deal with in the postseason.

7. Limoilou Titans (3-5)
We proclaimed last week that the wheels had fallen off for Limoilou, and we’re back to report they’re still rolling away after another blowout loss at the hands of Vanier.

8. Montmorency Nomades (1-7)
They kept it respectable against CNDF, but 48 points is just a little to much to ask for your offence to keep up with.

9. Garneau Élans (1-7)
Garneau may have lost again, and sadly it was by only 8 points – so it was another close one, but at least they stay out of the basement in the rankings.

10. Saint-Jean Géants (0-8)
Saint-Jean gave it good go on defence, but not many teams have been able to solve the Cougars on offence.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
