1. André-Grasset Phénix (5-0)
Grasset came into the week undefeated, and they leave as the unanimous leaders in the rankings after keeping their perfect record intact with a close win versus Champlain.
2. Ch.-Lennoxville Cougars (4-1)
Regular season results don’t matter come playoff time, so Champlain will need to take the positive and leave the negatives after a very competitive game versus Grasset.
3. Lévis-Lauzon Faucons (4-1)
Can anybody slow the Faucons down? We probably won’t get a good idea until they face off against Grasset on October 20th.
4. Vanier Cheetahs (3-2)
Vanier secured a massive win over Vieux Montréal to help keep pace with CNDF, which may come in handy in the long run with Grasset next up on the schedule.
5. Notre-Dame-de-Foy (3-2)
It was a bit sketchy for a moment there, but CNDF are right back in the thick of things, and now have a chance to send a message if they can get a win over Champlain this week.
6. Vieux Montréal Spartiates (2-3)
It was another close loss for Vieux Montréal this past week, which is slowly becoming the theme of their season.
7. Limoilou Titans (3-2)
With attention mostly focused on the top six teams, don’t sleep on Limoilou who sit tied for fourth in the standings with Vanier and CNDF.
8. Garneau Élans (1-4)
Garneau continues to slide, but they have a chance to end their skid with a winnable game versus Montmorency this week.
9. Saint-Jean Géants (0-5)
Four points was the difference between 1-4 and 0-5. It certainly hasn’t been for a lack of effort at Saint-Jean this year.
10. Montmorency Nomades (0-5)
Nobody expected the Nomades to win this past week, but it is encouraging to see them drop 28 points on the scoreboard, which was a season high.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
