CEGEP recruit swayed by positive Carabins atmosphere

CEGEP fullback joins Vanier Cup Champions’ 2015 class.

Stephane Thouin will be commencing his CIS journey in La Belle Province.

Recently, the 5’10, 205 pound fullback from Varennes, Quebec committed to Vanier Cup Champions, Montreal Carabins.  Thouin will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

“I chose the University of Montreal for the competition,” elaborated the Quebec fullback of his decision.  “With their facilities, programs and coaching staff I saw the opportunity for me to become the best football player I could be.”

“During my visit, I noticed the beautiful atmosphere between the coach and the players. That is the main reason why I wanted to be part of the Carabins family!”

Thouin began his gridiron career at the age of 10 with Boucherville Grizzlis.  Soon after, he moved on to play for RSEQ Juvenile Division 1 team, Jacques-Rousseau Sphinx as well as CEGEP Division 1’s Edouard-Montpetit Lynx.
