CEGEP receiver joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class

Dominic Perron will continue the next chapter of his gridiron career at home.

Recently, the 5’7, 165 pound receiver from Montreal, Quebec committed to the McGill Redmen.  Perron will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

“I decided to go to McGill University because of the great football program and the quality of the education that McGill offers,” explained Perron of his commitment.  “Being part of such a prestigious football program is a golden opportunity for me.”

“I am very confident with the young and motivated group of coaches and it made a big impact in my decision making process. McGill University will also give me the opportunity to improve my English skills. I am excited to face all the challenges that are coming for me and for my new football team. The great McGill engineering program will bring me all I need to achieve my goals after my football career.”

Perron completed a stint with CEGEP Division 1 team, Vieux-Montreal Spartiates.  During his time there, the receiver helped the team win the Bol D’Or Championship in 2014 and was a captain this past season.

Previous to the Spartiates, Perron suited up for RSEQ Juvenile 1’s College Jean-Eudes Eagles where he was selected as a league All-Star in 2012.
