Calling coaches for Team BC & Senior Bowl

After posting a notice last week that we are seeking applications for interested individuals in being a part of the Team BC coaching staff, we have received plenty of interest and we thank all the individuals who have submitted their applications so far.

We would like to remind all coaches that Football BC has a very specific policy when it comes to selecting coaches to be part of provincial programs – such as Team BC and Senior Bowl.

All coaches who apply should have their NCCP and, in addition, priority is given to those who have had previous provincial representation experience or experience with all-star teams, experience with the respective age groups, as well as experience with coaching Canadian football. Previous experience assisting with provincial programs or experience at the University level is also a benefit.

For coaches who are interested in being involved at a provincial level either with the Senior Bowl or with Team BC, we ask that you submit your provide your coaching resume to us at Football BC at [email protected] (in addition to applying directly for the position with Tom Kudaba for those who are interested in this year’s Team BC). Even if you are not selected for a coaching staff position with Team BC or Senior Bowl, we invite you to explore avenues to be involved with the camps and to build your coaching resume to strengthen your application in future years.

U18 Football Canada Cup

Football BC is accepting applications from individuals interested in a coaching position with the provincial 17-and-under team that will be competing at the 2011 Football Canada Cup tournament taking place from July 9 – 16, 2011 at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta.

Interested individuals should send a brief cover letter and a copy of their coaching resume to Tom Kudaba at [email protected]. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, January 21, 2011.

In addition to competition dates, coaches must also be available for the 2011 selection camps to be held from late January through to February, training camp to be held during May long weekend (May 21 – 23, 2011), as well as Main camp which runs in early July prior to the start of the competition.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
