British Columbia DE receives 10th NCAA offer (VIDEO)

Jonathan Kongbo is being heavily courted south of the border.

Hours ago, the 6’6, 260 pound defensive end from Surrey, British Columbia received his tenth NCAA Division 1 offer.  He announced on twitter that Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), PAC-12 team Oregon State Beavers were the latest to give him an offer:

This comes on the heels of a busy month for Kongbo.  Since October 21st, the defensive end received five additional offers including ones from Tennessee Volunteers (October 21st), Arizona Wildcats (October 22nd), Nebraska Cornhuskers (October 25th), Washington Huskies (October 28th), and Louisville Cardinals (October 29th). Those are in addition to ones he received earlier in his recruitment process from Auburn Tigers, Middle Tennessee State Blue Devils, Ole Miss Rebels and South Florida Bulls.

Currently, Kongbo is playing at the JUCO level with Arizona Western College Matadors.  Previous to the Matadors, the defensive end suited up for with the Holy Cross Crusaders of the British Columbia High School Football Association (BCHSFA).  For his exceptional play on the field in 2013, Kongbo was named a Provincial ‘AA’ All-Star.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
