Brampton recruit found “chemistry” at Mount Allison (VIDEO)

Brampton defensive end joins AUS team’s 2016 class.

Richie Williams will be calling New Brunswick his home away from home for the next few years.

The 6’2, 250 pound defensive end from Brampton, Ontario committed to Mount Allison Mounties.  Williams will join the team for the 2016 AUS season.

“I committed to Mount A because of what the school has to offer me as far as academics,” explained the defensive standout of his decision.  “Another reason why I committed to Mount A is because of the chemistry I have with some of the players.”

“I strongly believe that I will work to the best of my abilities and become a great student-athlete.”

Previously, Williams has played for Niagara Falls Wolverines, Brampton Bulldogs of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and West Edmonton Raiders.  During his last campaign, he led the Wolverines in tackles with 60, recorded five sacks and four forced fumbles.
