ETOBICOKE – The Brantford Bison Junior Varsity team traveled to Etobicoke to take on the Eagles in Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) action. The first half was a scoreless draw, due to some great defense, and offensive turnovers and penalties.
FIRST HALF HILIGHTS:
– Eagles 42 yard touchdown by Kingsley Amankwaa nullified by a holding call
– teams exchanging turnovers on Lateral Passes that were incomplete and recovered by the opponent
– couple booming punts by Bisons #7, Ben Hall
– Bison offside penalty nullifying a successful 4th and 1 attempt
– Bisons #21, Jess Damm, intercepting a Eagle pass deep in their own end with less than 30 seconds to play in the half

SECOND HALF HILIGHTS:
– teams exchanged turnovers early in 3rd quarter – both at midfield
– 10:29 (3rd) – Bisons were 4th and 5 1/2 yards – on punt Eagles went offside – on the ensuing 4th and inches the Bisons converted the QB sneak – end result was a missed 35 yard field goal and a one point rouge
