Bishops kicked its 2020 recruiting class off with two players from the Quebec area.
Mitchell Martel (6’2, 235 lbs) ā from John Abbot College (Kirkland, QC)
The product out of John Abbott College in Quebec is an impactful lineman capable of creating the necessary holes for his backfield to utilize and advance the running game.Ā He runs a respectable 5.96-second 40-yard dash and has big playmaking ability at his position. Martel intends to major in Sports Studies at the University.

Brandon Marques (6’2, 315 lbs) ā Defensive Lineman Offensive Lineman from College Ahuntsic (Montreal, QC)
Marques’ presence is felt in many facets of the game with his 6’2 and 315-pound frame. He has the potential to play a prominent role on the Bisons’ defensive line for years to come, as well as be a standout performer with his size and speed combination. The native of Montreal, Que., plans to major in Business during his time with the Gaiters.
