Bishop’s “has great vision” says CEGEP recruit (VIDEO)

Montreal defensive back joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class

Jacques Lindor will be continuing the next chapter of his gridiron career in his home province.

The 5’10, 188 pound defensive back from Montreal (North), Quebec has committed to Bishop’s Gaiters.  He will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

For his part, Lindor felt the combination of academics and football was perfect for him.

“The reason why I committed to Bishop’s is because I would be joining a community,” explained the defensive back.  “It’s a great school with smaller classes.”

“The teachers have more time to help and answer questions. As for the football program, the team is very family oriented. The training facilities are top notch. Our Head Coach Kevin Mackey has a great vision for the team and I like how he approaches the game of football.”

Lindor completed a stint with CEGEP Division 3 team, Ahuntsic Indians.  Additionally, the defensive standout also suited up for the Saint-Leonard Cougars.
