Sherbrooke adds second linebacker to their 2017 class.
Going into a new locker room can be a daunting experience. But for Arnaud Moisan, a linebacker from Cégep Beauce-Appalaches, the transition will be a bit easier since there are a few familiar faces on his new team, the Sherbrooke Vert & Or.
“I already have some friends in the team and the team seem to be like a big family. It’s a great team where I will be,” Moisan said.
The Vert & Or are currently in a leadership change and the team only recently learned who the next head coach will be. “I don’t know him yet. But the rest of the coaching staff looks like they want me to be good on the field. They already talking about where I will play on the field and the importance of the winter training,” Moisan said.
The 6’0, 207lbs athlete will be attending the university in January. He said that he chose Sherbrooke because of the Kinesiology program.

Coming from St-Raymond, Québec, which is north of Québec City, Moisan spent his high school years with Le Balbuzard du Louis-Jobin (RSEQ). In his final year with the team he was recognized as the best defensive player.
During this season with Les Condors du Cégep Beaucue-Appalaches (RSEQ Division 2), Moisan said he didn’t play as well as he wanted. He added that was because he was coming back from shoulder surgery, which he had on April 6, 2016.
