BCFC Week 3 Preview

Okanagan Sun vs Westshore Rebels – 4 pm at Westhills Stadium

The Sun look to improve to a perfect 3-0 on their campaign when they travel to the Island to take on the winless Westshore Rebels. The Sun put on a defensive clinic last week knocking off Raiders by a 17-3 score while the Rebels were blown out for the second week in a row dropping a 69-10 decision to the defending BCFC champion Rams.

Langley Rams vs VI Raiders – 4 pm at Caledonia Park

The Rams are also looking to keep their perfect season alive when they travel to Caledonia Park for the first time since winning the league championship there last season to take on the Raiders. The Raiders are playing their first game on home turf this season after opening their campaign with back-to-back road outings. Last season, the Raiders went undefeated on home turf during the regular season (five wins and one tie) before losing the championship game to the Rams.

Valley Huskers vs Kamloops Broncos – 7 pm at Hillside Stadium

The Huskers and Broncos conclude their home-and-home set this weekend when the scene shifts to the Interior. Both teams are headed into this match-up in the exact same position as they were last week in that they are still seeking their first respective wins. The teams dueled to a 29-29 tie at Townsend Park in Week 2 leaving both teams with an identical record of 0-1-1.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
