Matt Seymour’s Hyacks weren’t able to put up much offense in their exhibition match against powerhouse
Grandview but the New West receiver did produce one of the game’s biggest plays.
The 12th grader caught a screen pass from QB Mackenzie Ratcliffe to set up a 71-yard touchdown to
give the Hyacks a short-lived lead in the game. He also recorded six tackles on the defensive side.

QB JESSE WALKER
Mission Roadrunners
Jesse Walker will be a force to be reckoned with in 2014 and he provided a taste of things to come in his
team’s exhibition loss in to St. Bernard. Walker rushed 64 yards for a score and returned a
kickoff 97 yards to the house for another. He finished the game with 142 rushing yards.
