“I was looking all day,” said Arnyek. “When I got back from Track practice the message was there that said I had made the team.”

The Vanier Collegiate product has been busy lately piling up gold medals with the school’s Track and Field team. Now he’ll get set for football practices in Saskatoon, before heading to the East Coast on July 9th .

After making the Under 17 team last year, Arnyek was hoping for a longer trip in 2010.

“I’ve been really excited to make the team, even just because the trip to Nova Scotia will be something new,” said Arnyek.

Jacques Geyer, a defensive lineman from Central Collegiate, is the other local product to make the team.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
