EventsA Football Experience
For 3 years I was able to take in the football spectacle that is the US Army All American Bowl week in San Antonio Texas. The week is filled with special guests from the NFL and the US Army that put on an amazing experience for all the young football players in attendance.
While I agree that nothing stands out more than a player’s performance for their team, the combine, showcase or all star games can be an integral part of a player’s development. The events can be as valuable to a coach as the player, personally I have learned from some great coaches and people by attending and being involved with National and International events.
These experiences and events are a compliment to what your team does and should never replace the commitment to your own team.
