Alouettes name 2010 coaching staff

MONTREAL — Montreal Alouettes’ Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp and Head Coach Marc Trestman announced today the Alouettes’ 2010 coaching staff.

Returning from the 2009 Grey Cup Champion staff are Defensive Coordinator & Defensive Backs Coach Tim Burke; Offensive Coordinator, Quarterbacks Coach & Assistant Head Coach Scott Milanovich ; Running Backs & Assistant Offensive Line Coach Andy Bischoff; Receivers Coach Marcus Brady; Defensive Assistant & Football Operations Assistant Jean-Marc Edme; Offensive Line Coach Jonathan Himebauch; Defensive Line Coach Mike Sinclair; and Linebackers Coach Tim Tibesar.

New Special Teams Coordinator Richard Kent will replace the departing Scott Squires.

The Argonauts’ secondary coach in 2009, Kent worked his way through NFLE prior to joining Toronto, primarily coaching the secondary and special teams and developing game strategy. His versatility paid off as he reached the World Bowl four times, winning two championships (’02, ’05).
