Alberta recruit attracted to Bisons’ “championship mentality”

Brendon Sitko is moving to another Prairie province to begin his CIS career.

Recently, the 6’2, 293 pound offensive lineman (centre) from Fort McMurray, Alberta signed with the Manitoba Bisons.  Sitko will join the team for the 2015 CWUAA season.

Ultimately, the lineman felt at ease when he took in his official visit with the Bisons.

“When I went there they felt like a family, they brought me into their family when I got there,” recalled Sitko.  “They have a championship mentally, great facilities and great coaches.”

Sitko comes to the Bisons after completing a stint with the Edmonton Huskies in the Prairie Football Conference (PFC) of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL).
