Defensive back joins AUS team’s 2016 class
Saint Mary’s Huskies have announced the addition of Matthew Romain to their football program.
Romain, a defensive back from Ajax, Ontario will join the team for the 2016 AUS season.
“We recruited Matthew for his football ability but equally for the type of person he is,” commented Huskies Interim Head Coach AJ Tufford. “He has great character and work ethic and has a bright future ahead of him in the classroom and on the field.”
Among the teams Romain has suited up for in his career include Pickering Trojans of the Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association (LOSSAA) and Durham West Dolphins of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).
