With the tournament heating up, who do we expect to make to make a trip to Atlanta? Below are our predictions on the teams we expect to make the Final Four.

Michigan State

(Image courtesy of MSUToday) Strengthened by the return of Cassius Winston, Michigan State Spartans headed to the 2019/20 season as one of the major force to reckon with. They have been boosted further by the returns of Kenny Goins and Josh Langford and to add more to their expected success this season, there is a new electrifying recruit in Rocket Watts. In the Big 10 conference, Michigan State comes out as the favorite and has also been tipped to contend for the national championship.

Ohio State

Ohio State has looked like a complete team in the games played so far this season. All this is thanks to the strengthening of the squad during the summer and as it stands, the Buckeyes have the quarterback, better defense thanks to defensive end Chase Young, who has been touted as the best player in the country, they have skilled players, a coach who is good in offensive organization, and solid special teams. They have recorded improvement this season as compared to the last and they seem well in for the task.

Alabama

The journey of winning the ultimate national championship for this team will largely depend on three instances; they have to beat LSU, win the SEC Championship Game and have to avoid big teams in the College Football Playoff. From the look of things, Alabama’s challenging part will be to beat LSU. As it stands in the SEC East, they look to have an easy time on their way to Atlanta with this season seemingly easier judging from the mess in the conference. This team boasts of a good coach and arguably, the best in the college football history. When you add the team’s best offensive strength, having the most talented roaster, and their last season’s performances, Alabama looks impressive.

Oklahoma

Oklahoma possesses a team that has blended well and can play in different styles. Jalen Hurts has marshalled the offensive part of the team with CeeDee Lamb, one of the country’s best wide receivers, they look like a team that means business. On the other side of the pitch stands the figure of Alex Grinch who has solidified the defense and limited plays on their side. The defense was an issue over the past and with his strengthening, they seem ready to diffuse anything the playoff presents to them. Lincoln Riley will be looking for a positive reaction this season thanks to the competitive edge already in the team and the physicality to reach the ultimate prize.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
