In a wild Ontario Prospect Challenge Underclassman battle at TD Place in Ottawa, there was one constant – Jejuan Sparks in the backfield.
Sparks was part of a very stout defensive line that limited Team East’s offense to outside the tackles. Sparks, with a host of tackles behind the line and a few sacks, was constantly in the backfield.
For his efforts, he earned Underclassmen Defensive MVP.
“It means so much to me,” said Sparks after acceptance of the honour. Β “It means every hill I ran was worth it, that’s why I was able to play both ways.”
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
