Previous to the NCAA, Mateas suited up for the Ottawa Sooners of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) and his high school team, Merivale Marauders. During his time with the Sooners, the team won the league championship.

This past weekend, Mateas attended the New York Giants mini-camp.

The offensive lineman was ranked third in the CFL’s Scouting Bureau’s Final Rankings last month.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
