2010 CFL EVALUATION CAMP SCHEDULE

TORONTO, Ontario (March 8, 2010) – Selected members of the 2010 Canadian Draft class will showcase their skills this weekend in Toronto at the Canadian Football League (CFL) Evaluation Camp. The event puts draft eligible Canadian prospects through a series of speed and strength tests as well as football drills.

It kicks off Friday afternoon with player arrivals and team interviews and continues through Sunday afternoon at the Varsity Centre at the University of Toronto and the Park Hyatt Toronto Hotel.

Here is the event’s complete schedule:

FRIDAY MARCH 12
Players arrive in Toronto.

SATURDAY MARCH 13
Saturday morning’s tests are taking place in the Queen’s Park room of the Park Hyatt Toronto hotel. They include: medicals, video shot, hand/arm measurements, standing reach, flexibility and bench press.

8:00AM – Offensive linemen
8:40AM – Defensive linemen
9:10AM – Running backs, quarterbacks and kickers
9:40AM – Linebackers
10:10AM – Wide receivers
10:40AM – Defensive backs

The afternoon’s tests, also taking place in the Queen’s Park room, include height and weight measurements, vertical jump and standing jump.

2:25PM – Offensive & defensive linemen
3:25PM – Running backs, linebackers, quarterbacks and kickers
4:25PM – Wide receivers & defensive backs

SUNDAY MARCH 14
Sunday’s session is focused on football drills. Evaluation Camp moves under the bubble of Varsity Centre at the University of Toronto.

8:20AM – Offensive and defensive linemen to test 40s & Short Shuttle
9:15AM – Offensive & defensive linemen to individual & group drills
10:00AM – Long Snappers/Kickers
10:30AM – Running backs, linebackers, quarterbacks and kickers to test 40s & Short Shuttle
11:20AM – Running backs, linebackers, quarterbacks and kickers to individual & group drills
12:35PM – Wide receivers & defensive backs to test 40s & Short Shuttle
1:25PM – Wide receivers & defensive backs to individual & group drills
2:30PM – End of Evaluation Camp
