2 CFC60s, one other join Carabins

Carabins add three Québec commits to their 2019 class.

CFC60 Mikael Charpentier, a linebacker from Collège Lionel-Groulx, CFC60 Philippe Boucher an offensive lineman from Cégep Garneau, and Philippe Lavoie, a linebacker from Cégep de Jonquière, are staying in “la belle province” after signing with the University of Montréal Carabins.

CFC60 Mikael Charpentier

Currently located in Sainte-Thérèse, Québec, Mikael Charpentier has played the last two years with Les Nordiques du Collège Lionel Groulx (RSEQ Division 1). The 6’2, 195lbs middle and outside linebacker also played a season with Le Notre-Dame du Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy (RSEQ Division 1). In high school he was a member of Les Centurions de la polyvalente Deux-Montagnes (RSEQ).

CFC60 Philippe Boucher

Philippe Boucher from Québec City, Québec, has spent the last four years with Les Élans du Cégep Garneau (RSEQ Division 1). Standing at 6’4, 300lbs, he primarily plays as a guard and tackle.

Philippe Lavoie

Hailing from Sainte-Jeanne d’Arc, Québec, Philippe Lavoie, who is 6’3, 205lbs, spent his cégep career between Les Gaillards du Cégep de Jonquière (RSEQ Division 3) and Les Titans du Cégep Limoilou (RSEQ Division 1). He was a member of Les Lynx du Pavillon Wilbrod-Dufour (RSEQ) in high school.
