D’Amore adds local standout Austin Crumb to 2012 recruiting class (VIDEO)


Head coach Joe D’Amore and the Windsor Lancer Football program are excited to announce to signing of Newman Conference Offensive MVP and OVFL ALL-star Austin Crumb.

Austin is a 5’10 190lb defensive back out of Villanova High school, and will join the Blue & Gold for the 2012 season.

“We are extremely excited to add a player of Austin’s caliber,” said D’Amore. “We feel he is the top player coming out of the city of Windsor and for us to be able to keep him here in Windsor is a great thing.”

Crumb is the latest addition to Coach D’Amore’s already impressive local recruiting class, and will join a number of current Ravens’ teammates who have committed to the Lancers for the upcoming season, including Nick Vincent, Brandon Baillargeon, and Jordan Deneau.

Crumb will study Criminology at the University of Windsor in the fall.
